Bridge22
Bridge22 is dedicated to empowering young adults with disabilities as they transition into independent living and active community participation. Through innovative tools like a user-friendly app and a vibrant community center, we aim to bridge gaps in healthcare access, transportation, and social integration. Our programs are rooted in collaboration with local organizations, offering resources, events, and opportunities to foster a more inclusive and connected society. Starting as a pilot initiative in South Orange and Newark, Bridge22 seeks to create lasting change by addressing critical challenges and building stronger, more compassionate communities
Our Mission
Bridge22 seeks to advocate for disability, special needs, and rights for those who are underserved while fostering an inclusive environment. The project will focus on improving access to community activities, mitigating transportation barriers, and creating programs that favor collaboration, support, and inclusivity. By taking an information-centric approach, we believe that the root of the problems is a lack of awareness and aspire to
mitigate these challenges by educating the community at large
Who We Are
The primary objective of the product is to create a social networking space where people with conditions can express themselves freely and share their stories with others in a modernized way. All users have the ability to communicate with each other online and hope their stories could inspire others who are dealing with traumatic situations. What this application aims to solve is the problem that people dealing with mental, physical, and personal tribulations can’t express their frustrations and pain anonymously. This allows people to get rid of all their emotions that had been dormant inside a person, relieving their pain. What makes this application unique is that it focuses solely on listening to people’s tribulations.
Our Partnerships
Bridge22 is committed to working with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to create opportunities for young adults with disabilities. By collaborating with healthcare providers, transportation services, and career development programs, we aim to make independent living more accessible. Our partnerships will help provide resources, social events, and job opportunities to ensure that every individual, regardless of ability, can fully participate in their community. Together, we can build a more inclusive, supportive, and connected society.
